The capital of Ireland is visited year after year by thousands of tourists, all of whom have heard of how beautiful and amazing it is. Let us tell you first hand, those tourists aren’t wrong! Dublin is a beautiful, cultured city with plenty of things to see and do, so if you’re going there sometime soon you must take our advice in this post:
Drink Like a Local
The Irish are known for liking a drink or two, and the Irish in Dublin are no different. You’ll find the pubs all begin to fill up once it gets passed a certain time in the afternoon, normally around 3 or 4 pm. Drink like a local and find a comfy spot in the pub you like best and stay glued there for a good few hours! Try the Guinness is Dublin- it’s so different to what they serve up in the UK! Mainly because it’s made just around the corner. Irish coffee is great too, or if you prefer something a little milder, try a Baileys coffee. There are plenty of famous pubs in Dublin, so go ahead and explore them all! Cheap hotels in Dublin are available at all times, so you’ll easily find somewhere to crash after a hard days drinking.
Visit Dublin Zoo
Dublin zoo is an attraction not to be missed when in the area! You’ll see hundreds of rare and beautiful animals, all living life as if they’re in their natural habitat. There are many photo opportunities to be had, and some entertainment for kids too.
Take a Tour of The Guinness Storehouse
The Guinness Storehouse is an amazing tour for everyone, regardless of your interest in Guinness! You’ll learn so much about the drink, created by Arthur Guinness; including how it’s made, the ingredients that go into Guinness, the Guinness family history, and what it was like to work for Guinness years ago. When it’s time to have lunch, you can enjoy a meal of the day in the small cafe – usually Guinness stew! Guinness crisps are also available, of course. As you work your way around the tour, you learn how to drink Guinness properly, and even how to pull the perfect pint of Guinness – not to mention get a certificate to prove it! There are plenty of souvenirs available at the end so you can remember your day out.

If you like a good burger, Bobo’s is the place to go. A great diner that serves organic burger patties, along with chunky Irish chips and delicious shakes and juices.
